Foreign-Trade Zone 50--Long Beach, CA Withdrawal of Application 
for Subzone Status for the L.A. Gear Footwear Distribution Facility

    Notice is hereby given of the withdrawal of the application 
submitted by the Board of Harbor Commissioners of the City of Long 
Beach, grantee of FTZ 86, requesting special-purpose subzone status for 
the footwear distribution facility of L.A. Gear, Inc. The application 
was filed on April 7, 1997 (62 FR 18312, 4/15/97).
    The withdrawal was requested by the applicant because of changed 
circumstances, and the case has been closed without prejudice.
