National Cooperative Research Cable Television Laboratories, 
Inc.; Notification

    Notice is hereby given that, on April 13, 1994, pursuant to section 
6(a) of the National Cooperative Research and Production Act of 1993, 
15 U.S.C. 4301 et seq. (``the Act''), Cable Television Laboratories, 
Inc. (``CableLabs'') filed written notifications simultaneously with 
the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission disclosing 
changes in membership. The notifications were filed for the purpose of 
extending the Act's provisions limiting the recovery of antitrust 
plaintiffs to actual damages under specified circumstances. 
Specifically, the following parties have become members of CableLabs: 
ALLTEL Service Corporation, Little Rock, AK; Bend Cable Communications, 
Inc., Eugene, OR; and Regina Cablevision Cooperative, Regina, CANADA.
    No other changes have been made in either the membership or planned 
activity of CableLabs. The membership remains open.
    On August 8, 1988, CableLabs filed its original notification 
pursuant to Section 6(a) of the Act. The Department of Justice 
published a notice in the Federal Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of 
the Act on September 7, 1988 (53 FR 34593). The last notification was 
filed on January 21, 1994. A notice was published in the Federal 
Register pursuant to section 6(b) of the Act on March 23, 1994 (59 FR 
13745).
