Williams Natural Gas Company; Notice of Refund Report

June 17, 1997.
    Take notice that on June 12, 1997, Williams Natural Gas Company 
(WNG) tendered for filing a refund report, pursuant to Commission order 
issued February 22, 1995 (February 22 order), in Docket No. RP95-124-
000.
    WNG states that the February 22 order directed each pipeline 
receiving a refund from GRI to credit such refunds pro rata to its 
eligible firm customers, and within 15 days of making these credits, 
file a refund report with the Commission. The attached refund report 
reflects refunds of $853,512 credited by WNG to its eligible firm 
customers on June 12, 1997.
    WNG states that a copy of its filing was served on all 
jurisdictional customers and interested state commissions.
    Any person desiring to be heard to protest this filing should file 
a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory 
Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance 
with Section 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and 
Regulations. All such motions or protest must be filed on or before 
June 23, 1997. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to 
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection 
in the Public Reference Room.
