    Lands, and Mineral Resource, Pacific Northwest Region, Oregon and 
    Washington
    
    AGENCY: Forest Service, USDA.
    
    ACTION: Notice of delegation of authority.

    SUMMARY: The Regional Forester of the Pacific Northwest Region of the 
    Forest Service has delegated authority to the Regional Director of 
    Recreation, Lands, and Mineral Resources to issue all easements under 
    authority of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of October 21, 
    1976, as amended (43 U.S.C. 1761). The delegation is being issued in a 
    Regional Supplement to the Forest Service Manual 2700, Special Use 
    Management, Section 2704, Responsibility.
    
    EFFECTIVE DATE: June 20, 1997.
