    Northwest Pipeline Corporation; Notice of Compliance Filing
    
    June 18, 1997.
        Take notice that on June 13, 1997, Northwest Pipeline Corporation 
    (Northwest) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Third 
    Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets, to become effective 
    June 1, 1997:
    
    Sub Eleventh Revised Sheet No. 5
    Sub Fifth Revised Sheet No. 6
    Sub Sixth Revised Sheet No. 7
    Sub Tenth Revised Sheet No. 8
    Sub Fifth Revised Sheet No. 8.1
    Sub Original Sheet No. 202-C
    Sub Original Sheet No. 232-H
    Sub Original Sheet No. 232-J
    
        Northwest states that this filing is submitted in compliance with 
    the Commission's May 29, 1997 Order in Docket No. RP97-315 (79 FERC 
    para. 61,259). Northwest states that it has made revisions to its 
    pooling service provisions and that it has clarified that daily rates 
    are computed on the basis of 365 days per year, except that rates for 
    leap years are computed on the basis of 366 days.
        Northwest further states that a copy of this filing has been served 
    upon all intervenors in Docket No. RP97-315.
        Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
    with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
    Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
    Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
    provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
    will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
    action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
    the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
    and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
