    Employment and Training Administration
    [TA-W-33,297]

Lawton Manufacturing Company Including Leased Workers of Express
Human Resources, Inc., Lawton, OK; Amended Certification Regarding
Eligibility To Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance

In accordance with Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 USC
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Certification of Eligibility to
Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on May 20, 1997, applicable to
all workers of Lawton Manufacturing Company located in Lawton,
Oklahoma. The notice will soon be published in the Federal Register.
At the request of a company official, the Department reviewed the
certification for workers of the subject firm. New information provided
by the State shows that some workers of Lawton Manufacturing Company
were leased from Express Human Resources, Inc. to produce men's
trousers at the Lawton plant. Based on these findings, the Department
is amending the certification to include leased workers from Express
    Human Resources, Inc., Lawton, Oklahoma.
The intent of the Department's certification is to include all
workers of Lawton Manufacturing Company adversely affected by imports.
The amended notice applicable to TA-W-33,297 is hereby issued as
    follows:

All workers of Lawton Manufacturing Company, Lawton, Oklahoma,
    engaged in employment related to the production of men's trousers;
and leased workers of Express Human Resources, Inc., Lawton,
Oklahoma engaged in employment related to the production of men's
trousers for Lawton Manufacturing Company, Lawton, Oklahoma, who
became totally or partially separated from employment on or after
March 17, 1996, are eligible to apply for adjustment assistance
under Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974.

Signed at Washington, D.C. this 5th day of June 1997.
    Russell T. Kile,
Program Manager, Policy and Reemployment Services, Office of Trade
