K N Interstate Gas Transmission Co.; Notice of Waiver Filing

June 18, 1998.

    Take notice that on June 16, 1998, K N Interstate Gas Transmission 
Co. (KNI) filed to request waiver of Section 15 of Third Revised Volume 
No. 1-B and Section 15 of first Revised Volume No. 1-D of its FERC Gas 
Tariff in order to continue in effect its existing fuel and loss 
reimbursement percentages for an additional month through July 31, 
1998, and revise its fuel and loss reimbursement percentages effective 
August 1, 1998 consistent with the methodology proposed in Docket No. 
RP98-117-000.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed on 
or before June 25, 1998. Protests will be considered by the Commission 
in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve 
to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Copies of this filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection 
in the Public Reference Room.
