    Title: Evaluation of the Instrumentation and Laboratory Improvement 
Program.
    Affected Public: Not for Profit institutions.
    Respondents/Reporting Burden: 1,500 respondents: average 38 minutes 
per response.
    Abstract: This study will evaluate NSF's Instrumentation and 
Laboratory Improvement Program in the years 1988-1994. It will document 
and evaluate the scope and coverage of the program during this period 
and will assess its impacts on affected students, faculty, and 
institutions.
