Northern Natural Gas Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC 
Gas Tariff

June 21, 1995.
    Take notice that on June 13, 1995, Northern Natural Gas Company 
(Northern), tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth 
Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets with a proposed 
effective date of July 1, 1995:

Sub 2nd Revised 17th Revised Sheet No. 50
Sub 2nd Revised 17th Revised Sheet No. 51

    Northern states that the above-referenced tariff sheets are being 
filed to correct the Reverse Auction (GSR-RA) surcharge which was filed 
on June 1, 1995.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, NE., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Rule 211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211). All such 
protests should be filed on or before June 28, 1995. Protest will be 
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to 
be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceeding. Copies of the filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection.
