AGENCY: Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
ACTION: Notice of Information Collection submitted to OMB for review
and approval under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980.

SUMMARY: In accordance with requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act
of 1980 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the FDIC hereby gives notice that it
has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget a request for OMB
review for the information collection system identified below.
Type of Review: Extension of expiration date without any change in
substance or method of collection.
Title: Application to Participate in a Conversion Transaction.
Form Number: N/A.
OMB Number: 3064-0098.
Expiration Date of Current OMB Clearance: March 31, 1996.
Frequency of Response: On occasion.
Respondents: Insured depository institutions wishing to transfer
deposits between the Savings Association Insurance Fund (``SAIF'') and
the Bank Insurance Fund (``BIF''), or vice versa.
Number of Respondents: 10.
Total Annual Responses: 10.
Total Annual Burden Hours: 30.
