Committee Meetings of the Grand Canyon Visibility Transport
Commission

SUMMARY: The United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA)
is announcing meetings of the Alternatives Assessment, Public Advisory,
and Operations Committees of the Grand Canyon Visibility Transport
Commission (Commission).
The Alternatives Assessment Committee (AAC) will meet on Monday,
July 24, 8:30 am-5:00 pm, Tuesday, July 25, 8:30 am-5:00 pm, and on
Wednesday, July 26, 8:30 am-12:00 noon. The meetings of the AAC will be
held at the Doubletree Hotel, 4100 Admirality Way, Marina Del Ray,
California. The purpose of these meetings will be to review the
emission management scenarios being developed by the Commission's
contractors.
The Public Advisory Committee (PAC) will meet on Wednesday, July
26, 3:00 pm-5:00 pm, Thursday, July 27, 8:30 am-5:30 pm, and Friday,
July 28, 8:30 am-5:00 pm. The PAC meetings will be held at the
Doubletree Hotel, 4100 Admirality Way, Marina Del Ray, California. The
Wednesday session is intended as a briefing for new members on
technical documents and policy issues under discussion. Thursday and
Friday sessions will be on the main PAC meeting and workshops on fire
management, and issues of restructuring of utility markets.
The Operations Committee will meet on Monday, July 31, 12:00 noon-
5:00 pm, Tuesday, August 1, 3:00 pm-5:00 pm. The Operation Committee
meetings will be held at the Doubletree Hotel, 4100 Admirality Way,
Marina Del Ray, California. The Operations Committee will consider
approving emissions management scenarios for further development.
The Commission was established by U.S. EPA on November 13, 1991
(see 56 FR 57522, November 12, 1991). All meetings are open to the
public. These meetings are not subject to the provisions of the Federal
Advisory Committee Act, Public Law 92-463, as amended.
