Kirschner Medical Corporation a/k/a Biomet, Marlow, Oklahoma; 
Amended Certification Regarding Eligibility to Apply for Worker 
Adjustment Assistance

    In accordance with Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 USC 
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Notice of Certification 
Regarding Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on June 
28, 1994, applicable to all workers of Kirschner Medical Corporation, 
located in Marlow, Oklahoma, Texas. The notice was published in the 
Federal Register on July 19, 1994 (59 FR 36793).
    New information received from the company show that some of the 
workers at Kirschner Medical Corporation had their unemployment 
insurance (UI) taxes paid to Biomet, the parent company.
    Accordingly, the Department is amending the certification to 
properly reflect this matter.
    The amended notice applicable to TA-W-29,762 is hereby issued as 
follows:

    ``All workers of Kirschner Medical Corporation, a/k/a Biomet, 
Marlow, Oklahoma engaged in cutting and sewing related to the 
production of orthopedic support products who became totally or 
partially separated from employment on or after April 4, 1993 are 
eligible to apply for adjustment assistance under Section 223 of the 
Trade Act of 1974.''
