California Spotted Owl Federal Advisory Committee
AGENCY: Forest Service, USDA.
ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: The California Spotted Owl Federal Advisory Committee will
meet on July 7 and 8, 1997 in Sacramento, California. The Committee is
comprised of nine members and a committee chair. The purpose of the
meeting is for the Committee to hear presentations on the California
Spotted Owl preliminary Revised Draft Environmental Impact Statement
and the Sierra Nevada Ecosystem Project report. The meeting is open to
public attendance, however, participation is limited to scheduled
presentors and Committee members. Persons in attendance who wish to
bring comments to the attention of the Committee may file written
statements with the secretary for the Committee before or after the
meeting.
DATES: The meeting will be held July 7 and 8, 1997. The meeting will
begin at noon on July 7, and end at 4:00 p.m. on July 8.
