Gas Tariff, Sixth Revised Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff
    sheet:

Substitute Second Revised Sheet No. 647

Texas Eastern states that the above listed tariff sheet is being
filed to make the language in Texas Eastern's tariff consistent with
recently proposed changes in Texas Eastern's Statement of Standards of
Conduct. On May 17, 1996, Texas Eastern made a filing in Docket No.

proposed in the Statement of Standards of Conduct filing. Substitute
Second Revised Sheet No. 647 is being filed to include the necessary
    language changes.
The proposed effective date of this tariff sheet is June 17, 1996.
Texas Eastern states that copies of the filing were served on Texas

provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to
the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
