Sabine Pipe Line Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

May 30, 1997.
    Take notice that on May 27, 1997, Sabine Pipe Line Company (Sabine) 
tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised 
Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheets proposed to be 
effective June 1, 1997:

Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 256
Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 262
Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 297

    Sabine states that the tariff sheet revisions are in compliance 
with the Commission's order issued May 16, 1997 in Docket No. RP97-109-
000. Sabine states that Tariff Sheet Nos. 256 and 262 have been revised 
to indicate that Sheet Nos. 256 through 260 and Sheet Nos. 262 through 
264, respectively, are reserved for future use. Tariff Sheet No. 297 
has been revised to incorporate by reference GISB Standard 3.3.3, and 
to state Sabine's commitment to use the GISB Model Trading Partner 
Agreement.
    Sabine states that copies of this filing are being mailed to its 
customers, state commissions and other interested parties.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commissioners Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed in 
accordance with section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
Reference Room.
