Information Collection Submitted to the Office of Management and
Budget for Review Under the Paperwork Reduction Act
The proposal for the collection of information listed below has
been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget for approval
under provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. chapter 35).
Copies of the proposed collection of information and related forms and
explanatory material may be obtained by contacting the Bureau's
Clearance Officer at the phone number listed below. Comments and
suggestions on the requirement should be made within 30 days directly
to the Bureau Clearance Officer and to the Office of Management and
Budget, Interior Department Desk Officer, Washington, DC 20503,
telephone number 202-395-7340.
Title: Right-of-Way Cost Recovery Procedures, 43 CFR part 2808.
Abstract: Respondents supply identifying information and data on
monetary value of the rights and privileges sought by the applicant,
costs incurred for the benefit of the general public interest rather
than for the exclusive benefit of the applicant, and public services
provided which are necessary to determine who may be entitled to a set-
off against reimbursement of costs to the government.

Frequency: Once.
Description of Respondents: Right-of-way applicants for which the
authorized officer determines that the Bureau's application processing
activities will require gathering of original data to comply with the
National Environmental Policy Act and other statutes, and three or more
field examinations.
