Intrastate Rail Rate Authority--Alabama

AGENCY: Interstate Commerce Commission.

ACTION: Notice of provisional recertification.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY: The State of Alabama has filed an application for 
recertification. The Commission, under State Intrastate Rail Rate 
Authority, 5 I.C.C.2d 680, 685 (1989), provisionnally recertifies the 
State of Alabama to regulate intrastate rail rates, classifications, 
rules, and practices. After its review, the Commission will issue a 
recertification decision or take other appropriate action.

DATES: This provisional recertification will be effective on June 8, 
1995.
