        The Federal Communications Commission will hold an Open Meeting on 
    the subjects listed below on Thursday, June 10, 1999, which is 
    scheduled to commence at 9:30 a.m. in Room TW-C305, at 445 12th Street,

                                                                     Title VI, Section 6002(b)), which directs the
                                                                     Commission to annually report on the state of
                                                                     competition with respect to commercial mobile
                                                                     radio services.
    2....................................  WIRELESS TELE-           TITLE: Calling Party Pays Service Option in the
                                            COMMUNICATIONS.          Commercial Mobile Radio Service (WT Docket No.
                                                                     97-207).
                                                                    SUMMARY: The Commission will consider further
                                                                     action relating to the calling party pays
                                                                     option provided by CMRS providers.
    3....................................  WIRELESS TELE-           TITLE: Replacement of Part 90 by Part 88 to
                                            COMMUNICATIONS.          Revise the Private Land Mobile Radio Services
                                                                     and Modify the Policies Governing Them and
                                                                     Examination of Exclusivity and Frequency
                                                                     Assignments Policies of the Private Land Mobile
                                                                     Services (PR Docket No. 92-235).
                                                                    SUMMARY: The Commission will consider a Third
                                                                     Memorandum Opinion and Order that addresses
                                                                     petitions for reconsideration regarding
                                                                     centralized trunking of private land mobile
                                                                     channels below 512 MHz.
    4....................................  WIRELESS TELE-           TITLE: Biennial Regulatory Review -- Amendment
                                            COMMUNICATIONS.          of Parts 0, 1, 13, 22, 24, 26, 27, 80, 87, 90,
                                                                     95, 97, and 101 of the Commission's Rules to
                                                                     Facilitate the Development and Use of the
                                                                     Universal Licensing System in the Wireless
                                                                     Telecommunications Services (WT Docket No. 98-
                                                                     20); Amendment of the Amateur Service Rules to
                                                                     Authorize Visiting Foreign Amateur Operators to
                                                                     Operate Stations in the United States (WT
                                                                     Docket No. 96-188, RM-8677); and Amendment of
                                                                     Part 95 of the Commission's Rules to Allow
                                                                     Organizational Licensing in the GMRS (RM-9107).
                                                                    SUMMARY: The Commission will consider a
                                                                     Memorandum Opinion and Order on Reconsideration
                                                                     that addresses petitions for reconsideration
                                                                     pertaining to the operation of the Uuniversal
                                                                     Licensing System.

                                                                    SUMMARY: The Commission will consider a Second
                                                                     Report and Order concerning Internet access to
                                                                     ULS and auctions database information.
    6....................................  WIRELESS TELE-           TITLE: Promotion of Competitive Networks in
                                            COMMUNICATIONS.          Local Telecommunications Markets;
                                                                     Implementation of the Local Competition
                                                                     Provisions in the Telecommunications Act of
                                                                     1996; and Cellular Telecommunications Industry
                                                                     Association Petition for Rule Making and
                                                                     Amendment of the Commission's Rules to Preempt
                                                                     State and Local Imposition of Discriminatory
                                                                     and/or Excessive Taxes and Assessments (CC
                                                                     Docket No. 96-98).
                                                                    SUMMARY: The Commission will consider further
                                                                     action relating to the promotion of facilities-
                                                                     based competition in the local tele-
                                                                     communications marketplace.
    7....................................  COMMON CARRIER.........  TITLE: Low-Volume Long-Distance Users.
                                                                    SUMMARY: The Commission will consider an inquiry
                                                                     into proposals to ameliorate the impact on low-
                                                                     volume long-distance consumers of flat-rated
                                                                     charges assessed by interexchange carriers.
