K N Interstate Gas Transmission Co.; Notice of Tariff Filing

June 3, 1998.
    Take notice that on June 1, 1998, K N Interstate Gas Transmission 
Co. (KNI) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, the 
following revised tariff sheets, to be effective July 1, 1998:

Third Revised Volume No. 1-A

1st Rev First Revised Sheet No. 4-E
1st Rev First Revised Sheet No. 4-F
First Revised Volume No. 1-C
1st Rev Substitute Ninth Revised Sheet No. 4

    KNI states that this filing adjusts KNI's fuel and loss 
reimbursement percentages through the reconciliation of KNI's actual 
fuel and loss volumes with the quantity retained in kind for calendar 
year 1997, as adjusted. KNI proposes an effective date of July 1, 1998 
for the revised fuel and loss percentages.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should 
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in 
accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules 
and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed as provided 
in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be 
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to 
be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to 
intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
