State of Arizona Resource Advisory Council Meeting
AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.
ACTION: Arizona Resource Advisory Council Meeting, notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: This notice announces the sixth meeting of the Arizona
Resource Advisory Council. The meeting will be held August 9, 1996,
beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Washington Room at the Bureau of Land
Management National Training Center, 9828 N. 31st Avenue, Phoenix,
Arizona. The agenda items to be covered at the business meeting include
review of previous meeting minutes, report to the Council on the
Standards and Guidelines statewide plan amendment, update on the call
for RAC nominations on the elected official position, discussion on the
RAC chairperson selection, update of proposed field organization
strategy comment analysis, update on recreation initiatives and issues,
report on BLM administrative issues, and reports from the Public
Relations and Recreation working groups. A public comment period will
take place at 11:30 a.m., August 9, 1996, for any interested publics
who wish to address the Council.
