Midwestern Gas Transmission Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

July 3, 1997.
    Take notice that on June 26, 1997, Midwestern Gas Transmission 
Company (Midwestern), tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff 
sheets, with an effective date of June 1, 1997:

Sub Original Sheet No. 243

    Midwestern states that the revised tariff sheets set forth the 
revisions to Midwestern's pro forma Electronic Data Interchange Trading 
Partner Agreement as required by the Commission's June 16, 1997 Order 
on Compliance Filing in the above-referenced dockets (June 16 Order). 
Midwestern Gas Transmission Company, 79 FERC para. 61,350 (1997). In 
accordance with the June 16 Order, Midwestern requests that these 
tariff sheets be deemed effective June 1, 1997.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with 18 CFR 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
this proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
