[Declaration of Disaster #3099]


State of Michigan

    Ottawa and Montcalm Counties and the contiguous counties of 
Allegan, Clinton, Gratiot, Ionia, Isabella, Kent, Mecosta, Muskegon, 
and Newaygo in the State of Michigan constitute a disaster area as a 
result of damages caused by severe storms and high winds that occurred 
on May 31, 1998. Applications for loans for physical damage from this 
disaster may be filed until the close of business on August 27, 1998 
and for economic injury until the close of business on March 26, 1999 
at the address listed below or other locally announced locations: U.S. 
Small Business Administration, Disaster Area 2 Office, One Baltimore 
Place, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30308.
    The interest rates are:
