    Iroquois Gas Transmission System, L.P.; Notice of Proposed 
    Changes in FERC Gas Tariff
    
    July 5, 1995.
        Take notice that on June 30, 1995, Iroquois Gas Transmission, 
    System, L.P. (Iroquois) tendered for filing to become part of its FERC 
    Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff 
    sheets, to become effective July 10, 1995:
    
    Second Revised Sheet No. 93
    Original Sheet No. 93A
    
        Iroquois states that the purpose of the proposed changes is to 
    bring its tariff into conformity with recent regulatory changes 
    promulgated by the Commission in Order No. 577-A, revising 18 CFR 
    284.243(h), which provides for limited exemptions to the advance 
    posting and bidding requirements of the Commission's capacity release 
    regulations. Specifically, these revised tariff sheets permit shippers 
    to enter into pre-arranged releases of thirty-one days or less without 
    complying with the advance posting and bidding requirements.
        Iroquois states that copies of this filing were served upon all 
    jurisdictional customers and interested state regulatory agencies.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE., Washington, DC 
    20426, in accordance with 18 CFR 385.214 and 18 CFR 385.211 of the 
    Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such petitions or protests 
    should be filed on or before July 12, 1995. Protests will be considered 
    by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, 
    but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any 
    person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene. 
    Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available 
    for public inspection in the public reference room.
