NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION

Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards; Subcommittee Meeting on 
Thermal Hydraulic Phenomena Postponed

    A meeting of the ACRS Subcommittee on Thermal Hydraulic Phenomena 
scheduled to be held on July 11, 1995, Room T-2B3 at 11545 Rockville 
Pike, Rockville, Maryland, to discuss the revised emergency procedure 
guidelines to cope with an ATWS event compounded by core power 
instability has been postponed due to the need for additional dialogue 
between the NRC staff and appropriate nuclear industry representatives. 
Notice of this meeting was published in the Federal Register on Friday, 
June 23, 1995 (60 FR 32715). Rescheduling of this meeting will be 
announced in a future Federal Register notice.
    Also, the full Committee discussion of this matter scheduled for 
Thursday, July 13, 1995 has been postponed to a future ACRS meeting.
