Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation; Notice of Site Visit
July 7, 1997.
On July 14, 1997, the Office of Pipeline Regulation (OPR) staff
will inspect, on the ground, locations related to the facilities
proposed by Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation (Transco) and
alternatives in Marengo County, Alabama and Coweta, Walton and Gwinnett
Counties, Georgia for the Cherokee Expansion Project.
All interested parties may attend. OPR staff will depart from the
existing Transco valve setting on County Road No. 39, near Dayton,
Marengo County, Alabama at 12:00 noon CDT. Inspection of the proposed
and alternate sites for Compressor Station 115 in Coweta County,
Georgia will also occur during the afternoon of July 14, 1997. OPR
staff will also inspect Compressor Station 125 and the Georgia Uprating
facilities starting at 8:00 AM EDT, July 15, 1997. On that date OPR
staff will depart from Compressor Station 125 in Walton County,
Georgia. Interested parties planning to attend the July 14, 1997 site
inspection must provide their own transportation.
