Meeting of the Women's Health Initiative Program Advisory
Committee
Pursuant to Pub. L. 92-463, notice is hereby given of the meeting
of the Women's Health Initiative Program Advisory Committee (WHIPAC),
Office of the Director, July 28, 1995 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Sheraton
Reston Hotel, 11810 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, Virginia 22091. The
meeting will be open to the public, with attendance limited to space
available.
The purpose of the meeting is to review the status and progress in
the planning and conduct of the Women's Health Initiative (WHI), and to
advise the NIH Director on the comprehensive plan of prevention studies
in the WHI. There will be a panel discussion on the NHLBI PEPI Trial,
Behavioral Issues within the WHI Protocol, and the National Recruitment
and Public Awareness Campaign.
Dr. Loretta P. Finnegan, Director, Women's Health Initiative,
National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland 20892 (301-402-2900)
will provide a summary of the meeting, a roster of committee members,
and substantive program information, upon request. Individuals who plan
to attend and need special assistance, such as sign language
interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, should contact Mrs.
Nancy Morris 301-402-2900 by July 21.
