    DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
    [TA-W-31, 694; TA-W-31, 694A]

Snyder Oil Corporation, Headquartered in Fort Worth, TX Operating
Throughout the States of Texas and Wyoming; Amended Certification
Regarding Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance

In accordance with Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 USC
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Certification of Eligibility to
Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on February 2, 1996, applicable
to all workers of Snyder Oil Corporation, headquartered in Fort Worth,
Texas and operating throughout the State of Texas. The notice was
published in the Federal Register on February 21, 1996 (61 FR 6660).
At the request of the company, the Department reviewed the
certification for workers of the subject firm. New findings show that
worker separations will occur at Snyder Oil's production operations
throughout the State of Wyoming. The workers are engaged in employment
related to the production of crude oil, natural gas and natural gas
    liquids.
The intent of the Department's certification is to include all
workers of Snyder Oil Corporation adversely affected by imports.
Accordingly, the Department is amending the certification to include
all workers at the subject firms' Wyoming locations.
The amended notice applicable to TA-W-31, 694 is hereby issued as
    follows:

``All workers at Snyder Oil Corporation, headquartered in Fort
Worth, Texas, operating throughout the State of Texas (TA-W-31,
694), and operating throughout the State of Wyoming (TA-W-31, 694A),
who became totally or partially separated from employment on or
after November 17, 1994 are eligible to apply for adjustment
assistance under Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974.''

Signed at Washington, D.C. this 1st day of July 1996.
    Curtis K. Kooser,
Acting Program Manager, Policy and Reemployment Services, Office of
    Trade Adjustment Assistance.
