    Williston Basin Interstate Pipeline Company; Notice of Proposed 
    Changes in FERC Gas Tariff
    
    July 7, 1998.
        Take notice that on July 1, 1998, Williston Basin Interstate 
    Pipeline Company (Williston Basin), tendered for filing as part of its 
    FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, the following revised 
    tariff sheets to become effective August 1, 1998:
    
    Second Revised Volume No. 1
    Fourth Revised Sheet No. 371
    Second Revised Sheet No. 372
    
        Williston Basin states that the tariff sheets reflect modifications 
    to Williston Basin's FERC Gas Tariff in compliance with the 
    Commission's Order No. 587-G issued April 16, 1998, in Docket No. RM96-
    1-007. The tariff sheets reflect the Gas Industry Standards Board 
    (GISB) Version 1.2 standards adopted by the Commission in such Order.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
    in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's 
    Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed as 
    provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. 
    Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
    appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
    parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party must 
    file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
    Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
    Reference Room.
