National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism; Notice of
Meeting of the Board of Scientific Counselors
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
meeting of the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute on
Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, August 8-9, 1994, Flow Building
Conference Room 12501 Washington Avenue, Rockville, MD 20852.
This meeting will be open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on
August 8 for a report on recent administrative developments. Attendance
by the public will be limited to space available. Individuals who plan
to attend and need special assistance, such as sign language
interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, should contact Diana
Widner, Office of Scientific Affairs, NIAAA, at (301) 443-4375.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in section 552b(c)(6),
Title 5, U.S.C. and section 10(d) of Public Law 92-463, the meeting
will be closed to the public from 8 a.m. on August 8 to adjournment on
August 9 for the review, discussion, and evaluation of intramural
research programs and projects conducted by the National Institute on
Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, including consideration of personnel
qualifications and performance, and the productivity of individual
staff scientists, the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly
