Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation; Notice of Filing

July 10, 1995.
    Take notice that Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation 
(CHG&E), on June 28, 1995, tendered for filing a Service Agreement 
between CHG&E and Engelhard Power Marketing, Inc. The terms and 
conditions of services under this Agreement are made pursuant to 
CHG&E's FERC Electric Rate Schedule, Original Volume 1 (``Power Sales 
Tariff'') accepted by the Commission in Docket No. ER94-1662. CHG&E 
also has requested waiver of the Commission's notice requirements.
    A copy of this filing has been served on the Public Service 
Commission of the State of New York.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 
20426, in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules 
of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 18 CFR 385.214). All such 
motions or protests should be filed on or before July 24, 1995. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection.
