Amoco Production Co. and Amoco Energy Trading Co. v. Natural Gas 
Pipeline Co. of America; Notice of Filing of Staff Audit Report and 
Establishing Comment Dates

July 8, 1997.
    Take notice that on July 8, 1997, Commission Staff (Staff) filed 
its audit report, in the above-docketed proceeding. Staff filed its 
report pursuant to the Commission's Order Establishing Procedures 
(Order) issued March 25, 1997, 78 FERC para. 61,313 (1997). In the 
March 25, 1997 Order, the Commission directed Staff to conduct an audit 
of the records, procedures, and practices related to the allocation of 
capacity on Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America's system, including 
requests for service and contracting for capacity, for the period from 
January 1, 1995, to the present, and to report its findings.
    Any party wishing to file comments may file initial comments on 
Staff's audit report on or before July 28, 1997. Reply comments shall 
be filed on or before August 7, 1997.
