E4-1564. Gas Technology Institute; Notice of Five-Year Research, Development and Demonstration Plan

Take notice that on July 1, 2004, the Gas Technology Institute (GTI) filed an application requesting approval of a 2005-2009 Five-Year Collaborative Research, Development and Demonstration (RD&D) Plan, a 2005 GTI RD&D Program, and advance rate approval for collection of the funding of its RD&D activities for 2005, pursuant to section 154.401 of the Commission's Regulations. GTI states in its application that numerous jurisdictional natural gas companies (i.e., pipelines, producers, distributors, and municipalities) support GTI's proposed budget of $48.0 million for 2005.

Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene.
