    SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that Sea World Inc., has been issued a 
    permit to import for public display purposes.

    SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: On Wednesday, May 14, 1997, notice was 
    published in the Federal Register (62 FR 26476) that an application had 
    been filed by Sea World, Inc., Orlando, FL. A public display permit was 
    requested to import one adult male beluga whale (Delphinapterus leucas) 
    from the Vancouver Aquarium, Stanley Park, British Columbia, Canada, 
    into the United States for public display purposes.
        The requested permit has been issued subject to the provisions of 
    the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 (16 U.S.C. 1361 et seq.), the 
    Regulations Governing the Taking and Importing of Marine Mammals (50 
    CFR part 216), and the conditions set forth therein.
