ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: In accordance with Section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory
Committee Act (P.L. 92-463), announcement is made of the following
committee meeting:
Name of Committee: Coastal Engineering Research Board (CERB).
Dates of Meeting: August 20-23, 1996.
Place: U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station, Coastal
Engineering Research Center, Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (August 20, 1996); 8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. (August 21, 1996); 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (August 22, 1996); 8:30
a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (August 23, 1996).

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Proposed Agenda
The 1997 Coastal Engineering Program Review is to be held August
20-23, 1996. On Monday, August 20, there will be a review of work units
concerning coastal navigation and storm damage reduction, coastal
navigation hydrodynamics, coastal sedimentation and dredging, and
coastal structure evaluation and design. On Wednesday, August 21, there
will be demonstrations and presentations concerning the Coastal Field
Research Facility, Coastal Field Data Collection Program, and
Monitoring Coastal Navigation Projects Program. On Thursday, August 22,
nominations on Monitoring Coastal Navigation Projects will be presented
and presentations on the Coastal Inlets Research Program will be
discussed. On Friday, August 23, there will be a wrap-up.
This meeting is open to the public, but since seating capacity of
the meeting room is limited, advanced notice of intent to attend,
although not required, is requested in order to assure adequate
arrangements for those wishing to attend.
