    AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.
    
    ACTION: Public land order.

    SUMMARY: This order revokes, in its entirety, a public land order that 
    withdrew 30 acres of public land for a Forest Service administrative 
    site. The land is no longer needed for this purpose and the Forest 
    Service has relinquished the withdrawal. This action will open the land 
    to the operation of the public land laws. The land is temporarily 
    closed to mining due to a pending land exchange proposal. The land has 
    been and will remain open to mineral leasing.
    
    EFFECTIVE DATE: August 3, 1998.

        By virtue of the authority vested in the Secretary of the Interior 
    by Section 204 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, 
    43 U.S.C. 1714 (1994), it is ordered as follows:
        1. Public Land Order No. 6803, which withdrew public land for the 
    Forest Service Sulphur Center Administrative Site, is hereby revoked in 
    its entirety:
    
    Sixth Principal Meridian
    
        T. 1 N., R. 76 W., sec. 8, NW\1/4\NW\1/4\NW\1/4\ and E\1/2\NW\1/
    4\NW\1/4\.
    
        The area described contains 30 acres in Grand County.
        2. At 9 a.m. on August 3, 1998, the land will be opened to the 
    operation of the public land laws generally, subject to valid existing 
    rights, the provisions of existing withdrawals, other segregations of 
    record, and the requirements of applicable law. All valid applications 
    received at or prior to 9 a.m. on August 3, 1998, shall be considered 
    as simultaneously filed at that time. Those received thereafter shall 
    be considered in the order of filing.
