Meeting
The National Immunization Program, Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) announces the following meeting:
Name: The National Immunization Program (NIP) Technical Vision
Meeting on Immunization Registry Networks.
Time and Date: 12 noon-5 p.m., July 30, 1998; 9 a.m.-4 p.m.,
July 31, 1998.
Place: NIP, Koger Office Park, Stanford Building, Satcher Room
A, 2939 Flowers Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30341.
Status: Open to the public, limited only by the space available.
The meeting room accommodates approximately 30 people.
Purpose: To receive input from technical experts in the field of
electronic information systems development on architectural models
for immunization registry networks. The outcome of this meeting is
to provide technical options and possible standard approaches for
exchange of information among state and local immunization
registries.
Matters to be Discussed: Agenda items will include an overview
of immunization registries and discussions on the following issues:
connectivity; system security; interfacing with vendor developed
systems; command and control; and various technical platform
options.
Agenda items are subject to change as priorities dictate.
