AGENCY: Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
ACTION: Extension of comment period.

SUMMARY: On May 16, 1994, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission
(``Commission'') published in the Federal Register a request for public
comment on proposed rules to extensively revise the Commission's part 4
disclosure rules applicable to commodity pool operators and commodity
trading advisors. The original comment period expires on July 15, 1994.
59 FR 25351 (May 16, 1994). By letter dated July 11, 1994, the Managed
Futures Association requested an extension of the comment period to
August 17, 1994. In order to ensure that all interested parties have an
adequate opportunity to submit meaningful comments, the Commission has
determined to extend the comment period as requested.
DATES: Written comments must be received on or before August 17, 1994.
