AGENCY:  Food and Drug Administration, HHS.

ACTION:  Notice; correction.

SUMMARY: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a notice 
that appeared in the Federal Register of June 8, 1999 (64 FR 30525). 
The document announced an opportunity for public comment on a proposed 
collection of information; specifically, comments on reporting 
requirements contained in existing FDA regulations governing State 
enforcement notifications.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:  In FR Doc. 99-14458, beginning on page 
30525 in the Federal Register of Tuesday, June 8, 1999, the following 
correction is made:
    1. On page 30526, in the first column, in the second paragraph, 
beginning in the fifth line, ``potential future need of a State or 
local government to petition for an exemption from preemption under the 
provisions of section 310(b) of the act.'' is corrected to read 
``potential future obligation of a State to notify FDA of an 
enforcement action under the provisions of section 310(b) of the act.''
