AGENCY: Federal Administration, Department of Transportation.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. 3501 
et seq.) this notice announces that the information collection request 
described below has been forwarded to the Office of Management and 
Budget (OMB) for review.

    OMB Control Number: 2130-0517.

    Title and Form Number: Supplemental Qualifications Statement for 
Railroad Safety Inspector Applicants, FRA-F-120.

    Type of Review: Extension of a currently approved collection.

    Need and Uses: To evaluate the qualifications of applicants for 
Railroad Safety Inspector positions. The questions cover a wide range 
of general and specialized skills, abilities, and knowledge of the five 
types of railroad safety inspector positions.

    Affected Public: Individuals or Households.

    Estimated Annual Burden: 6,000 hours.

    Estimated Average Burden Per Respondent: 3 hours.

    Frequency of Response: On occasion.
    Estimated Number of Respondents: 2,000.
