Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in
FERC Gas Tariff
July 18, 1996.
Take notice that on July 16, 1996, Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company
(Tennessee) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth
Revised Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheets, to be
effective September 1, 1996:

Tennessee states that the revised tariff sheets reflect conforming
changes to Tennessee's tariff to permit Tennessee to charge negotiated
rates for its transportation and storage services in accordance with
the Statement of Policy issued on January 31, 1996 in Docket No. RM95-
6-000 (74 FERC para. 61,076).
Any person desiring to be heard or to make any protest with
reference to said filing should file a motion to intervene or protest
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE.,
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with the requirements of the
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.214 or
385.211). All such motions or protests must be filed as provided in
Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. All protests filed
with the Commission will be considered in determining the appropriate
action to be taken, but will not serve to make the protestants parties
to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a
motion to intervene. Copies of the filing are on file with the
Commission and are available for public inspection.
