Alabama-Tennessee Natural Gas Company; Notice of Refund Report

July 18, 1996.
    Take notice that on July 15, 1996, Alabama-Tennessee Gas Company 
(Alabama-Tennessee), tendered for filing a report of refunds made on 
July 1, 1996, pursuant to Appendix A-2, Paragraph 4 of the joint 
Stipulation and Agreement filed on September 21, 1993, in FERC Docket 
No. RP92-237-000, et al., and the Commission's May 20, 1996, Order in 
FERC Docket Nos. RP92-237-022 and 023.
    Alabama-Tennessee has requested that the Commission grant such 
waivers

as may be necessary to accept and approve the filing as submitted.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C., 20426 in accordance with Rule 211 of the Commission's 
Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211). All such protests 
must be filed on or before July 25, 1996. Protests will be considered 
by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken but 
will not service to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies 
of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for 
public inspection.
