AGENCY: National Science Foundation.

ACTION: Notice of permits issued under the Antarctic Conservation of 
1978, Pub. L. 95-541.

SUMMARY: The National Science Foundation (NSF) is required to publish

notice of permits issued under the Antarctic Conservation Act of 1978. 
This is the required notice.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: On May 30, 1997, the National Science 
Foundation published a notice in the Federal Register of permit 
applications received. Permits were issued on July 17, 1997 to the 
following applicants:

Scott Drieschman, Permit No. 98-002.
Randall Davis, Permit No. 98-004.
Wayne Trivelpiece, Permit No. 98-005.
Robert Wharton, Permit No. 98-006.
Nadene G. Kennedy,
