Northwest Pipeline Corporation; Notice of Service Agreement 
Filing

July 20, 1998.
    Take notice that on July 15, 1998, Northwest Pipeline Corporation 
(Northwest), tendered for filing and acceptance two certificated 
service agreements to be effective February 1, 1998.
    Northwest states that it is filing a Rate Schedule SGS-1 service 
agreement and a Rate Schedule LS-1, service agreement, both between 
Northwest and Puget Sound Energy, Inc., and both dated February 1, 
1998. These service agreements reflect a shipper name change from 
Washington Natural Gas Company to Puget Sound Energy, Inc.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should 
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's 
Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed on or 
before July 27, 1998. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to 
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection 
in the Public Reference Room.
