Proposed rule; extension of comment period.
SUMMARY:
The EPA is announcing an extension of the public comment period for the proposed rule entitled “Revisions to the California State Implementation Plan, California Air Resources Board Consumer Products Regulations.” The proposed rule was initially published in the Federal Register on June 26, 2009. Written comments on the proposed rule were to be submitted to EPA on or before July 27, 2009 (30-day comment period). The EPA is extending the public comment period until August 27, 2009.

The comment period for the proposed rule published June 26, 2009 (74 FR 30481), is extended. Comments must be received on or before August 27, 2009.

The proposed rule was signed by the Acting Regional Administrator on June 17, 2009 and published in the Federal Register on June 26, 2009 (74 FR 30481).
The proposed action provided a 30-day public comment period. EPA has received a request for an additional 30 days to comment on the proposed rule and is granting that request. Therefore, EPA is extending the comment period until August 27, 2009.
