    Take notice that a meeting with Staff will be convened in the 
above-docketed proceedings on Thursday, July 31, 1997, at 1:00 p.m., in 
a room to be designated at the offices of the Federal Energy Regulatory 
Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, D.C., 20426. The purpose 
of the meeting is to discuss the status of the new SoNet project and 
any impacts of a later implementation date. Any interested parties may 
attend.
