Porcelain-on-Steel Cooking Ware From the People's Republic of 
China; Extension of Time Limit for Antidumping Duty Administrative 
Review

AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration, 
Department of Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of extension of time limit for antidumping duty 
administrative review.

SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce (the Department) is extending the 
time limit for preliminary results of the administrative review of the 
antidumping duty order on porcelain-on-steel cooking ware from the 
People's Republic of China (PRC) to no later than December 31, 1997. 
The review covers the period December 1, 1995 through November 30, 
1996. This extension is made pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930, as 
amended by the Uruguay Round Agreements Act (the Act).

EFFECTIVE DATE: July 29, 1997.

POSTPONEMENT: Under section 751(a)(3)(A) of the Act, the Department may 
extend the deadline for completion of an administrative review if it 
determines that it is not practicable to complete the review within the 
statutory time limit of 365 days. The Department find that it is not 
practicable to complete the preliminary results of the 1996 
administrative review of the antidumping duty order on porcelain-on-
steel-cooking ware from the PRC within this time limit. See Memorandum 
to the Acting Assistant Secretary for Import Administration (public 
document, on file in the Central Records Unit, Room B-099 of the Main 
Commerce Building).
    In accordance with section 751(a)(3)(A) of the Act, the Department 
will extend the time for completion of the preliminary results of this 
review from September 2, 1997 to no later than December 31, 1997.
