New York Power Authority; Public Notice; Public Information
Meetings
July 23, 1999.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission) will hold two
public information meetings to familiarize the public with the
Commission's hydropower licensing program. The Commission staff will
give an overview of the Commission and its licensing and post-licensing
procedures. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers. A
significant number of hydroelectric projects' licenses will expire
between 2000 and 2010, including the New York Power Authority's Robert
Moses Niagara Project (Project No. 2216), located in Niagara County,
New York. The license for the Robert Moses Niagara Project expires in
August 2007.
Interested persons are invited to attend either or both sessions
scheduled as follows:
