    Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Department of Health and Human Services announces the following advisory committee meeting.

    Name: National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics (NCVHS), Subcommittee on Standards and Security (SSS).

    Time and Date:

    9 a.m. to 5 p.m., August 19, 2003.

    9 a.m. to 5 p.m., August 20, 2003.

    8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., August 21, 2003.

    Place: Washington Terrace Hotel, 1515 Rhode Island Avenue, NW., Washington, DC 20005.

    Status: Open.

    Purpose: The agenda for Tuesday, August 19th includes discussion on Drug and Devise Terminologies. The morning session on the 20th will be devoted to reviewing the PMRI Terminology report. During the afternoon session, discussion will take place on the analysis of the impact of moving to ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS. On the 21st, a wrap up of day one and two will begin the session followed by an update on Claims Attachments. Discussion of updates/issues related to the Financial and Administrative Transaction Implementation will end the day.
