Notice of Approval of Record of Decision Final Environmental 
Impact Statement/General Management Plan Cabrillo National Monument, 
San Diego County, CA

SUMMARY: Pursuant to Sec. 102(2)(C) of the National Environmental 
Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and the regulations promulgated by the 
Council on Environmental Quality (40 CFR 1505.2), the Department of the 
Interior, National Park Service has approved a Record of Decision (ROD) 
on the Final Environmental Impact Statement/General Management Plan 
(FEIS/GMP) for Cabrillo National Monument, San Diego, California.
    The National Park Service will implement the Proposal as identified 
in the Final Environmental Impact Statement, issued in April 1996.
    Copies of the approved Record of Decision may be obtained from the 
Superintendent, Cabrillo National Monument, 1800 Cabrillo Memorial 
Drive, San Diego, California 92106 or telephone at 619-557-5450.
