SUMMARY:

The North Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) Trawl Electronic Monitoring Committee will meet August 21, 2019 through August 22, 2019.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Thursday, August 22, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pacific Standard Time.

Agenda

The agenda will include discussion of: A strategic review of fishery monitoring committee roles; EM cost metrics; 2019 Trawl EM program; the west coast whiting program; planning for the 2020 Trawl EM program; update on relevant information from the observer fee analysis; and, scheduling and other issues.
